Group Sessions
Heading 2
When is group learning the right fit?
Certain students can thrive in a group setting. Most of the time, these students are just starting their preparation and want to learn an overview of the topics and skills. Some students are social learners and enjoy getting together with friends, having conversations, and giving advice to each other. In addition, group sessions can offer the following benefits:
-
Collaborative Learning: In a small group, students can share strategies, ask questions, and learn from each other’s mistakes, which can enhance understanding of difficult concepts.
-
Cost-Effective: Small group tutoring is often more affordable than private 1-on-1 sessions, while still offering personalized attention from the tutor.
-
Balanced Interaction: The group is small enough for the tutor to provide individualized feedback, yet large enough to foster healthy competition and motivation among peers.
-
Diverse Problem-Solving Approaches: Exposure to different perspectives and problem-solving methods within the group can help students think more critically and flexibly during the test.
